The concept of slow fashion came very naturally and organically to me, in a way that my father had a manufacturing export house, I could see a lot of wastage happening. It made me really think of what would they do of so many of these fabrics, that were lying unused from around 10 years ago till date. It was adding up year by year. And then, one day I came across some very beautiful hand marbled scarves, that one of the clients had completely rejected due to an uneven frame. Every scarf had been beautifully hand dyed. One needs to understand the beauty of hand done fabric, that not every part can be the same especially in dyeing. It's the random flow that actually attracted me towards it.

The subtle colors and softness was very much inline with my aesthetic preferences. I thus, created my first collection keeping in mind how I could reuse wasted fabrics and create new things from it. From there on, I started my label. As we grew, we could see a lot of challenges in front of us. But the satisfaction that we receive being a slow fashion brand is overwhelming. Especially as the world is becoming more conscious of what they are buying and from where they are buying. It really helps our brand to make a mark of being a provider of beautiful hand crafted garments which encourages artisans to explore and learn along the way.

Our goal this year is to promote reuse and minimum usage and consumption. Make clothes that people would never like to throw off, make them feel connected to them. We want to make garments which you can reuse easily in some or the other way. To promote fair trade and hand crafted items and to promote equality and parity in work is also what we are passionate about.
We love clothes that last
We want you to wear our clothes for a really long time – for them to live on in your wardrobe and stay out of landfill. We’re committed to creating a healthy working environment for everyone involved in their making, too.

We aim to stimulate and drive the world's development towards a fashion industry that is responsible and environmentally aware. We invest in quality over quantity, creating timeless collections, which can be cherished forever. For us, design and responsibility go hand in hand. We have a modern vision for a modern world.

Repurposing deadstock fabric
We use the "deadstock" fabric- the excess left behind by the export house and breathe new life into it. With deadstock, we're able to create beautiful dresses without taking part in the extractive and exploitative practices of the conventional textile industry. A dress made of deadstock is sustainable, but we are constantly exploring ways to be more than just sustainable.
